- We are looking to bring on board a driven Director to help grow our expanding Brussels client roster and service existing public affairs accounts.
- This is a dual role: you will be expected to provide high-level strategic advice to clients while actively participating in the firm's day-to-day management and meeting business objectives.
- This Director will have a strong network within the Brussels institutions to provide clients with sound engagement advice and counsel on the latest developments.
- Strong knowledge of digital and technology policy is an advantage, but you’ll have the ability and the expectation put on you to grow into new focus areas in line with the ever evolving political agenda.
- This is a senior role in our team (you’re likely to have seven years plus experience), and you will serve as a member of the Brussels leadership team.
- That also means making decisions on the day-to-day running of our company.
- As such, you have an entrepreneurial mindset and have experience in pursuing business development to grow our workbook.
- Responsibilities Strategic advisory - Capable of providing strategic advice to clients to progress their regulatory and policy agendas in Brussels.
- Business development - Experience in pursuing new business opportunities, including drafting new business proposals and pitches.
- Build and maintain a network - Building and maintaining a strong network and leveraging relationships with the European Commission, Parliament and Council.
- Engaging with (prospective) clients, helping to raise the profile of Verified employer in Brussels and beyond.
- Team leadership - Management and team leadership experience, including coaching and training junior colleagues, reviewing work and providing feedback, delegating effectively, and supporting personal development.
